Lead Generator

Find websites with Google searches, pick the ones you want, and crawl them for contacts.

Lead Generator works in two phases: first it searches, then it crawls what you pick. ## Phase 1 — the search - **Keywords** — one per line, up to 200. - **Country, language and city/region** — the city is optional; if Google does not recognise it, the search falls back to the whole country and the campaign page tells you so. - **Result pages per keyword** — 1, 2, 3 (default), 5 or 10, ten results per page. - **Published** — any time, or only the past day, week, month or year. - **Use Google dorks** — off by default. Adds search operators: only sites on the country's domain, exact phrase, and any extra operators you write. A live preview shows the exact query. Operator queries can cost several times more per results page — the form says so before you start. - **Search pace** — everything at once, or spread out: N keywords every N hours (the default). The form tells you when the last batch will land. - **Never include** — domains you never want to see. Domains you have blocked in the Contact Database are skipped too. - **After each search** — wait for you to pick the sites (default), or crawl the companies automatically. Each keyword shows its own progress: pages searched, sites found, companies, crawled, and the contacts that came out of them. **Search again** restarts a keyword from page one and is charged again; a plain **Search** continues from where it stopped. ## Phase 2 — the crawl Found sites are sorted into companies, articles, directories, social networks, marketplaces and other, so you can concentrate on the ones worth crawling. Filter, search, select a page or everything matching your filters, then **Start crawl**. The crawl itself runs in a linked Website Crawler campaign named " — crawl" — that is where the contacts and the exports live. If a site was classified wrongly, correct it: the correction is remembered for your whole account and applied wherever that domain appears. ## What it costs - **Searching** is charged per results page, as it runs, page by page. A page that failed to load is not charged, and paging stops early when a page comes back nearly empty — you do not pay for empty pages. - **Crawling** is charged per website, exactly like the Website Crawler. If your balance runs out mid-search, the keyword stops with "Insufficient balance" and a paced schedule pauses itself. Top up and start it again. ## The site details panel For any site: how it was found (keyword, page, position in the results), the pages the crawler visited, and every contact with the page it came from and whether it is already in your Contact Database.
