Start, Stop, Check now, how often checks run and what happens when the balance runs out.
Content Monitor, Legal Monitor, SERP Tracker, LLM Mentions and Backlinks Search all work to the same rhythm. ## Start, Stop, Check now - **Start monitoring** runs one check straight away and then keeps checking on the rhythm you chose. - **Stop** ends the schedule. A check that is still waiting in the queue is cancelled and what was reserved for it is returned. - **Check now** works whether monitoring is on or off, and does not move the schedule. Only one check per campaign runs at a time. Asking for a second while one is queued or running is refused, and editing the campaign during a check is refused too — the check is already priced for the settings it started with. ## How often | Rhythm | Costs, compared with daily | |---|---| | Every 6 hours | ×2.0 | | Every 12 hours | ×1.5 | | **Every day (default)** | ×1.0 | | Every 2 days | ×1.5 | | Every 3 days | ×2.0 | | Every week | ×2.5 | | Every 2 weeks | ×3.0 | | Every month | ×3.5 | A rarer rhythm costs more per check because each check has to look further back. Not every tool offers every rhythm: SERP Tracker stops at two weeks, LLM Mentions runs from daily to monthly, and Backlinks Search from weekly to monthly — positions and link databases do not change fast enough for anything tighter to be worth paying for. From a day apart upwards you also choose the part of the day (Sofia time): early morning 00–07, **morning 07–11 (default)**, midday 11–14, afternoon 14–18, evening 18–24. The exact minute is fixed per campaign, so your checks always land at the same time and campaigns spread the load out between them. ## What a check costs and when The **most** a check could cost is reserved from your balance when the check joins the queue. When it finishes, the real cost is charged and the difference is returned. You see both numbers ("reserved" and "charged") on the Checks tab of the campaign. Nothing is charged for what did not work: a failed check, an answer that never came back, a page that could not be opened. ## When the balance runs out If your balance cannot cover the next check, monitoring is **switched off automatically**. You get a notification in the app and the campaign's email list is told. Top up and press Start again — the settings and the history are untouched.
