About Us

TOOL1 was founded in 2018 by Angel Astakov, a software engineer with two decades of hands-on experience in building and integrating business software.

Where we come from

Angel's background spans the full software stack:

• Web development – full-stack web applications, RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, containerised deployments with Docker and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Mobile applications – native and cross-platform apps for iOS and Android, with offline sync, push notifications and secure back-end APIs.
• ERP and CRM implementations – custom modules, business-process automation, data migrations and two-way synchronisation with accounting, e-commerce and warehouse systems through APIs, webhooks and ETL pipelines.
• VoIP integrations – SIP trunking, IP PBX configuration, IVR flows, call routing and recording, and CTI (computer telephony integration) with click-to-call and caller identification inside CRM systems.

Why we built Crawer

Together with the TOOL1 Development team we kept running into the same problem – our own projects and our clients needed web data, lead lists and SEO monitoring, but the tools on the market were sold as monthly subscriptions of €200–300. Some months the credits went unused and were lost; other months they were not enough and the only option was a more expensive plan.

So we built the platform we wanted to use ourselves: powerful, easy to work with and far more affordable. Crawer is pay-as-you-go. There are no monthly subscriptions and no contracts – you top up credits when you need them, see the price before you start a campaign and pay only for the work actually done.

What the platform does

• Website Crawler – crawls whole websites and extracts contact details such as email addresses and phone numbers.
• Lead Generator – finds businesses by keyword and location in search results, scans their websites for contacts and builds a reviewed, exportable contact database.
• Listing Scraper – extracts structured records from directories, catalogues and listing pages, across multiple pages, with a visual element picker.
• SERP Tracker – tracks your Google rankings by keyword, device, country and city, compares you with up to three competitors, alerts you about movements and sends a weekly report.
• Keyword Research (new) – finds what people search for: ideas around your keywords, the keywords a site is found for, or the search volumes for a list you already have, each with cost per click, competition, difficulty and trend.
• Backlinks Search – shows who links to a domain and who links to its competitors, ranks those links by the strength of the site behind them, and lists the sites that link to your competitors but not yet to you.
• Content Monitor – watches page elements, lists, sitemaps or whole pages and notifies you about new, changed or removed content and price changes, with AI summaries of what changed.
• Legal Monitor – follows the State Gazette, strategy.bg, EUR-Lex and sources of your choice, selects the publications relevant to you with AI and emails you a digest.
• LLM Mentions – asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity the questions your customers ask, and records whether your brand is named in the answers, how it is described and which competitors are named instead.

Every campaign runs in the cloud on a schedule you choose, with results, history and exports available in your account.
